Manifesto
Learning is an emotional act.
Think about your favorite subjects in high school? How about college? Most likely, you had a great relationship with whoever was teaching.
So why is it that once we leave school, learning anything turns into a hard-to-navigate maze?
Online info products, boring video courses, and uninspiring Zoom calls with underpaid tutors? Or maybe just go get a book? This sucks.
History has proved to us that educational consumer products are a lie. Designed to make you stick around long enough to watch just enough ads while making you feel like you've actually learned something.
At the end of all this, you're left no smarter than when you started. So what's left?
Studies show that one-on-one lessons are by far the best way to learn anything (any topic & age!).
Private teachers personalize their learning approach and syllabus to your style. They can push you forward and slow down when there are knowledge gaps.
Unfortunately, though, this experience has so far been exclusive to a select few. It's expensive, inflexible, and—even worse—hard to find.
It's time we put emotion back into learning.
